Travis Brotherton, Head golf pro and Broadmoor general manager

Travis is a native of the mountains and graduated from Reynolds High School. His many years of experience have taken him through the golf retail industry, and Assistant Golf Pro duties at such fine clubs as Snee Farm and Kiawah Island in South Carolina.

Mike Fridl, Golf Course Superintendant

In 1985, Mike graduated with honors from the Turf Management Program at NC State University. He has over 30 years experience working on and managing fine private and semi-private golf course facilities. Sound turf management principles and hard work are Mikes cornerstones to attaining the best turf possible at all the golf courses where he has worked.
Billy Van Arsdale, PGA Teaching Pro

Billy is another member of our strong team of local talent . He grew up on the North side of Asheville and learned the game from his Father, a well known amateur in our region. Billy has been the Head Golf Pro and Teaching Pro at several clubs in our area and has built a stellar reputation for teaching through patience and teaching the fundamentals. He is also excellent with juniors, producing local talent that has moved on to college and scholarships. If you are looking to learn the game and have fun to, call Billy, he is your man.
Karl Litten, Course Architect
Known for doing diverse golf course projects around the world, Karl is named one of the Fab Four Architects by the PGA along with Nicklaus, Fazio and Palmer. When he was building Broadmoor, he was also building the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, current home of the Dubai Desert Classic European PGA tour event and renowned course for having grass in the Middle East desert.
